Clean attempt setup
- Choose a normal creature. A weak, predictable target is better than a boss with a large health pool or a quest reset.
- Deal setup damage first. Leave the target alive but close to the weapon’s one-shot range.
- Move into open ground. Avoid trees, walls, enemies, and edges that can interrupt the turn.
- Keep the scope down. Do not aim down sights during the final sequence.
- Complete the full turn. Use a landmark or the creature’s starting direction to judge when you have returned to the same heading.
- Fire immediately from the hip. The 360 shot needs to be the kill, not a delayed explosion, environmental hit, or earlier damage tick.
If it does not unlock
| Failure pattern | Change for the next attempt |
|---|---|
| Target survives | Use a weaker creature or add a little more setup damage. |
| Scope was used | Keep the weapon in hip-fire for the entire turn and final shot. |
| Shot lands before the turn is complete | Use a fixed landmark and delay the shot until you face it again. |
| Another effect gets the kill | Do not use explosives or fire while setting up the attempt. |
| Target moves out of view | Pick a slower creature and start closer in a clear area. |
Evidence boundary: Steam confirms the achievement name and condition, but not the best weapon, creature, island, mouse sensitivity, or exact rotation tolerance. Those details are practical community guidance and should be re-tested after future patches.
When to attempt it
Post-game cleanup is the least stressful time if your save keeps the gear and islands you already unlocked. An early normal creature can work too. Do not sacrifice a required boss bait just to force the achievement.
For the rest of the achievement list, use Steam’s official achievement page as the source of truth for names and descriptions, then verify any trick-specific method separately.

The game also tracks style actions such as no-scope and 360 shots for kill-score behavior according to community guides. That may help with timing, but it is not a guarantee that every score modifier uses the exact same trigger as the achievement.
